At a Glance: Deltoid Balsamroot is a native perennial that grows 3 ft tall. It has large sunflower-like blooms that are bright yellow and beautiful. This species is found in our South Sound priaries and are a pollinator favorite.
Leaves: Leaves have long petioles, widely spear-shaped, 8–24 in. long, entire to toothed, rough to thinly hairy.
Flowers: This species’ inflorescence has bright yellow ray flowers surrounding a large center of short disk flowers.
