Bundle of 5

At a Glance: perennial, tap-rooted, herbaceous to semi-woody subshrub that grows 8 to 40” tall; stout, branched stems are leafy, often somewhat hairy.

Leaves: toothed or entire, resin dotted; basal leaves lance shaped, up to 15” long; stem leaves alternate, stalkless, & often clasping at their bases.

Flowers: Yellow ray flowers, 10-35, disk flowers yellow; involucre bracts sticky glandular.
