Bundle of 5

At a Glance: Evergreen perennial with extensive rhizomes; stems trailing, rooting freely, often forming large mats. Frequently grows in thick leaf mold that partly hides the flowers.

Leaves: Heart to kidney-shaped, shiny, long-stalked, 2 at each node, 1.5-4” long, to 6” wide; leaf stalks& veins finely hairy.

Flowers: Purplish-brown to greenish-yellow, solitary, bell-shaped flowers w/ 3 flaring lobes that taper to long point; often concealed by leaves.
